Machine Operator

We are seeking four dedicated and skilled candidates to join our newly established Thermal Spray Room. The ideal candidates will possess solid experience in machine operation, welding, robotic welding (similar to Polaris), or painting. While training will be provided, prior manufacturing experience in any of these areas is essential.

• Setup and operate coatings booth to fabricate parts.
• Keep detailed notes of current running jobs.
• Work independently and prioritize tasks in an environment where deadlines are constantly changing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to daily housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Promote and maintain a culture and attitude of continuous improvement.

• Experience in machine operation, welding, robotic welding, or painting.
• Capability to lift 40 pounds.
• Two years’ experience in thermal spray, manufacturing, welding, polishing/surface finishing, or robotics.
• High school diploma, some college preferred.

• Experience with plasma spray equipment and robots.
• Ability to operate metal working equipment, open flames, and furnaces.
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.

Work in a climate-controlled environment with both new and old equipment, supporting aerospace and DOD contracts. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
