Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianSelux is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility in Highland, NY. This position is responsible for maintaining production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and performing preventative maintenance to keep operations running safely and efficiently.We are looking for a reliable, hands-on technician with experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance who is comfortable working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.ResponsibilitiesComplete Maintenance Work Requests as well as Preventative Maintenance assignments that require electrical, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry skills.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipmentAssist with installation and startup of new equipmentRespond to production breakdowns and urgent repair needsOperate forklifts, lifts, and other powered equipment as neededFollow and enforce all safety proceduresWork overtime when requiredQualificationsMinimum of four years' experience in manufacturing / industrial / building maintenanceExperience with basic electrical and pneumatic control circuitsMechanical troubleshooting experience preferredAble to operate powered vehicle equipment including forklifts, platform lifts and Boom LiftsFamiliarity with basic construction trades (framing, plumbing, electrical wiring, sheet rocking, painting etc.)Awareness of environmental rules and regulations helpfulPhysical Demand Requirements:Standing, walking and moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs)Must be tolerant of working at heights (up to 30 ft.)Valid driver's licenseCompany ProfileEmployment Selux Corporation has a successful track record of tremendous growth and sustainability as a world-wide manufacturer of architecturally designed luminaries, nestled right here in the Hudson Valley.
