Overview Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students communication growth in a welcoming school setting for the upcoming academic year. Two unique roles are available: one focusing on Early Intervention (11‑month assignment) and another working with K‑12 students. Both roles start August 10th, 2026, and run through June 17th, 2027, offering a full‑time schedule and the chance to make a meaningful impact within the school community. Key Responsibilities Provide direct speech‑language therapy to students, ensuring IEP goals and needs are addressed Conduct speech and language assessments, write evaluation reports, and contribute to IEP planning meetings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to facilitate students communication access and progress Deliver services in both individual and group settings, adapting methods as needed for maximum student engagement Maintain thorough, compliant documentation of all services, progress notes, and communication Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development Foster an inclusive, respectful environment that celebrates student strengths and diversity Qualifications and Experience Active Speech‑Language Pathology license in Maryland (MD SLP License required) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) Experience in a school‑based SLP position, Early Intervention, or K‑12 caseload preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop creative therapy materials and activities tailored to students diverse needs Benefits Full‑time schedule for reliable work‑life balance Support from a collaborative educational team The chance to work with students across a range of ages and needs Defined contract dates so you can plan ahead Compensation Compensation for this position ranges from $30.22 to $60.22.
