We also provide attractive working conditions and opportunities for career growth through professional development.Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in South Jersey.Short DescriptionManage the Financial Operations of General AccountingManage month end close activities for the Obligated Group and Consolidated EntitiesManage General Ledger ERP system processes and procedures for accurate and appropriate transactionsEnsure monthly and annual financial reporting packages are submitted timely and accuratelyEnsure quarterly and annual DAC Bond reports are reviewed and submitted timely and accuratelyEnsure completion of monthly and annual tax filingsAssist leadership with completion of annual report to credit rating agencies Manage internal and external audit engagements and conformity of corporate policies and procedures Support the annual budgetary process as needed Budgetary responsibilities for General Accounting departmentAssist with Finance related issues as requested.Experience RequiredMinimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting with direct healthcare or public accounting experience preferred.
