Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Greeting customers with a smile and assisting with their shopping experience
- Selling daily admission, season passes, and all other products in an efficient and friendly manner
- Selling various merchandise
- Receiving payment by credit cards, vouchers, gift cards or automatic debits
- Offering additional products to offer the best park experience
- Having excellent payment handling skills to make transactions fast, friendly, and fun
- Merchandising and maintaining sales displays
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees
- Providing superior guest service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
- Assisting customers with all questions regarding City Museum including facility layout and amenities
- Following all park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to operate a computer and computer software programs
- Approachable, outgoing and excited about selling
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with public, customers and staff members
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Energy and enthusiasm for long days
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 25 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs
- Applicants under 16 years of age must be able to provide appropriate work permit(s) to be considered for employment
