Quality Analyst (Level 2)

Overview This position is in the Quality Control discipline for Quality & Mission Success at Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA. The role is responsible for a range of quality assurance activities supporting product manufacturing and customer regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Identifying, developing, and automating quality health metrics to support various teams in Palmdale. Supporting the development of quality plans and procedures in accordance with customer requirements. Analyzing and interpreting data and metrics to drive actionable goals and continuous improvement; drawing conclusions from data sets and presenting findings to leadership. Collaborating with Quality Engineering to address product defects and variation in manufacturing processes across production sites and centers to determine root cause and assist in developing corrective actions. Managing the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability. Providing inter‑organizational contact with production personnel, inspection, and other internal customers. Understanding quality control discipline for product‑related compliance, tracking, and reporting of quality metrics; performing internal audits and developing conclusions from trending data. Qualifications Experience in Excel. Experience with Microsoft Tools. Experience in Data Analysis. Desired Skills Experience using Power Query to import, clean, and merge large datasets. Proficiency in INDEX/MATCH or XLOOKUP to cross‑reference data, and building nested array formulas. Ability to automate tasks using VBA/Macros or LAMBDA functions. Experience creating interactive Pivot Charts, Data Models, and Power Pivot. Advanced Tableau skills—calculations, performance optimization, architecture & governance, data integration. Citizenship & Clearance Must be a U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Other Information Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
