Civil Superintendent - Warrenton, VA

A growing site development contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations on a variety of civil construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in sitework, utilities, grading, and earthwork .

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
• Manage site development activities including grading, excavation, and utility installation
• Maintain project schedules and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications
• Work closely with Project Managers, inspectors, and clients
• Enforce safety standards and jobsite compliance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Foreman or Superintendent in heavy civil construction
• Strong background in site development, earthwork, grading, and underground utilities
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
• Proven leadership and crew management experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• OSHA certification preferred
