Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Paint Helper Operator for our client. This position is responsible for preparing metal parts for the paint process, assisting with material handling, inspecting finished products, and maintaining an efficient production flow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Hang metal parts and components on paint line racks in preparation for powder coating and painting.
• Verify parts are properly positioned and secured to ensure complete and even paint coverage.
• Remove painted parts from racks after the curing and drying process.
• Perform visual inspections to identify paint defects, scratches, coating inconsistencies, or other quality concerns.
• Assist painters and production personnel to maintain continuous workflow throughout the paint department.
• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Utilize hand tools and material handling equipment to support daily operations.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
• Meet daily production schedules while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Experience working in a paint, powder coating, or finishing department is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely handle metal parts and operate material handling equipment.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
• Manufacturing facility with exposure to paint lines, powder coating equipment, and industrial machinery.
• Frequent standing and repetitive material handling throughout the shift.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and production equipment.
• Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and other protective equipment as required.
