Job Description:
As a OnBase Technical Lead , you will serve as the primary technical authority for OnBase applications, leveraging advanced expertise in OnBase WorkView and Workflow to drive the design, development, enhancement, and optimization of enterprise content management solutions. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can architect scalable solutions, provide strategic guidance, and ensure successful delivery of complex business requirements through effective application development and system configuration.

The ideal candidate will lead development efforts across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. You will collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders, provide architectural oversight, mentor team members, and ensure that OnBase solutions align with organizational goals while maintaining high standards of quality, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development team in designing, coding, implementing, and enhancing existing OnBase applications.

• Serve as the technical authority for OnBase solutions with a strong focus on WorkView and Workflow.

• Architect, configure, develop, and maintain OnBase WorkView applications and Workflow processes.

• Design and optimize scalable solutions to address complex business requirements.

• Plan and deploy interface, process automation, and workflow strategies within the OnBase environment.

• Guide application development activities through requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions and architectural designs.

• Review system designs and recommend enhancements to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate user requirements.

• Direct and participate in application design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and implementation activities.

• Provide leadership and expertise throughout testing phases to ensure quality standards are achieved.

• Monitor project progress and communicate accurate status updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.

• Identify, track, and resolve technical issues, risks, dependencies, and action items.

• Develop project estimates, implementation plans, and timelines for assigned initiatives.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to OnBase applications and integrations.

• Deliver technical guidance, mentoring, and training to enhance team knowledge and support capabilities.

• Ensure application changes follow best practices and align with organizational objectives.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent technical study.

• OnBase WorkView and Workflow certification preferred.

• Extensive experience developing, enhancing, and supporting OnBase applications.

• Expert-level knowledge of OnBase WorkView and Workflow functionality.

• Expert-level knowledge of OnBase system configuration, administration, and architecture.

• Strong understanding of the OnBase Unity Client and its application capabilities.

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise content management and workflow solutions.

• Proven ability to lead technical teams and provide architectural guidance.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in production environments.

• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and best practices.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within established timelines.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Experience providing technical training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to team members.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $90.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
