Dispatcher - Transportation Location: Transportation Primary Purpose Provide dispatcher services for Transportation Operations Center. Perform administrative services in support of the Transportation Operation Center. Qualifications Education/Certification: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, plus two years of study at an institution of higher education totaling 48 hours, an associate’s degree, or a passing score on the "Paraprofessional Assessment of Competencies" exam administered by Alvin ISD. Test is approximately 3 hours; applicants must have a current online application. If selected for interview, transcripts showing degree or college hours should be presented. Special Knowledge/Skills: Proficient skills in typing, computer operations, and file maintenance; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; expertise with telecommunications equipment, including radios.
