MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a hospital-based radiology team in Scarborough, ME. The MRI Technologist will prepare and position patients, operate Philips MRI systems, follow established safety protocols, and produce high-quality diagnostic images for a variety of inpatient and outpatient studies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MR.
• AMRIT certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Philips MR systems, including 1.5T Ingenia/Ambition and 3T platforms. This is required.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center environment. Preferred but strongly desired.
• Experience imaging diverse case types including neuro (spine, brain, perfusion), body (abdomen, MRCP, kidney, pelvis) and MSK studies.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing anesthesia and ICU patient MRI examinations.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record workflows.
• Strong communication skills and ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00 - 19:30.
• Weekend coverage expectations include 36 weekly hours with 24 hours on Saturday/Sunday plus one weekday shift, depending on the schedule.
• May be scheduled for weekend or overnight patterns as operationally required.
• Float requirements: ability to rotate between sites when not scheduled on overnight assignments.
