Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a mixed Medical-Surgical Telemetry/PCU unit
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
• Maintain patient ratios of 5–6:1 in accordance with unit standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed
• Complete all required pre-start modules and orientation requirements prior to entering the facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• Active Pennsylvania RN license or active Compact license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Availability to work every other holiday
• Willingness to float within the hospital and to nearby sister facilities as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
• Background in a Telemetry, PCU, or Medical-Surgical setting
