This is a 13-week contract position with night shifts scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, exclusively on weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Tele RN with extensive experience to provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic hospital setting. The ideal candidate will also be prepared to float to various units as required, specifically to care for a similar patient population.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in the medical/surgical telemetry unit.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage medications.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Float to assigned units as necessary based on staffing needs.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
