Senior Accountant - Ecommerce Focus

About the Role We’re a fast‑growing direct‑to‑consumer fashion brand looking for a hands‑on Senior Accountant to help scale our finance operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high‑growth, e‑commerce environment and wants real ownership over the close, reporting, and inventory accounting. What You Will Do Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process Prepare and analyze GAAP‑compliant financial statements Own inventory and COGS accounting, including reserves and landed costs Reconcile e‑commerce revenue, payment processors, and bank accounts Manage revenue recognition for DTC sales, returns, discounts, and gift cards Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Merchandising Support sales tax and indirect tax compliance with third‑party providers Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes Support audits and ad hoc financial projects as the business grows Light AP and AR duties What We are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus) 4–7+ years of accounting experience, ideally in DTC, e‑commerce, retail, or consumer products Strong knowledge of GAAP and month‑end close Proven experience with inventory accounting and COGS Experience with ERP/accounting systems and e‑commerce platforms (Apparel Magic, Full Circle, QuickBooks, Shopify, Stripe, etc.) Advanced Excel skills Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment Strong communicator who collaborates well across teams Nice to Have Fashion, apparel, or consumer goods experience ERP implementation or optimization experience Startup or high‑growth company background #J-18808-Ljbffr
