Dental Hygienist

Position Dental Care on Yellow Bluff is hiring a full-time dental hygienist. Location & Schedule 12517 Yellow Bluff Rd, Jacksonville, Florida 32226. Work schedule: Tuesday-Friday 7:15 am - 5:30 pm. Lunch break 1 pm - 2 pm. Average 7-8 patients per day per hygienist. Practice Details Two-doctor practice utilizing Dentrix. 60-minute rekare and 90-minute new patient appointments. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Florida. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Availability to attend virtual training sessions or in-person trainings periodically throughout the year. Preferred Experience Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Health & Safety Tuberculosis (TB) test required for all new hires in dental office positions. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process.
