Due to continued growth, we are hiring Local Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery within 45 miles of Auburn, MA.


Compensation

• Starting salary is $90,000 per year, approximately $1,740 per week.
• Annual reviews, potential pay increases based on performance.
• Pallet return bonus, approximately $150 per week, potential.
• Annual Holiday and Safety bonuses, based on performance.
• Typical work week is 40-50 hours per week.
• Weekly paychecks.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, no weekends. Home Daily.
• Start times vary, typically between 5am-7am, work until work is completed.
• One week of paid training, all expenses paid, required in Rome, NY
• Average 8-10 stops per day.
• Deliver hardware supplies using day cab and 53' dry van.
• Driver unload using pallet jack and/or hand cart.
• Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule and/or customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Drive day cab with 53' dry van trailer to transport to specific route destinations.
• Unload assist using pallet-jack, lift-gate.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
• Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CDL A experience.
• Drive automatic day cab with 53' dry van semi-trailer.
• Hazmat preferred. Must be willing to obtain upon hire.
• Experience delivering freight using pallet jack and/or hand cart.
• Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical
• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, with air brakes endorsement.
• Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
• Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
• Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
