Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Neurology | Yonkers, NY

Seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our leading neurology practice as a full-time provider. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive neurological care, collaborate closely with experienced physicians, and provide exceptional, patient-centered care through strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills in an on-site setting.

Schedule: Mon - Fri | Full-time or Part-time options available | On-site in Yonkers, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, medical histories, and neurological examinations
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and incorporate findings into patient care decisions
• Manage medications, follow-up visits, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing (for NP) or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New York State
• Experience in neurology Required
• BLS/ACLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and care management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Commitment to evidence-based care and patient safety
• Ability to work full-time, on-site in Yonkers, NY.
