GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Position Summary

Aqua Divers, Inc. is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to develop original design concepts for water sports packaging, soft goods, and hard goods, and to translate those concepts into accurate, production-ready files for vendor development. This role combines brand design, product graphics, packaging execution, and technical production. The successful candidate will work efficiently across multiple projects, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Conceptualize and create original graphic designs for water sports packaging, soft goods, and hard goods.

· Develop original logos, brand marks, visual identity systems, and brand guidelines.

· Create packaging concepts, layouts, graphics, and production artwork consistent with brand positioning and product requirements.

· Prepare accurate, production-ready artwork, technical files, specifications, and tech packs for factories and vendors.

· Adapt designs across packaging dielines, product surfaces, materials, and production methods while maintaining visual consistency.

· Partner with product and sales teams to ensure design work supports brand identity, commercial objectives, and manufacturing requirements.

· Review proofs, product samples, and vendor submissions; identify corrections and clearly communicate revisions.

· Maintain organized project files, version control, and technical documentation.

· Prioritize and manage multiple projects while keeping appropriate team members informed of progress, deadlines, and potential delays.

· Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.

· Strong illustration skills and a well-developed sense of color, visual layout, and typography.

· Ability to translate creative concepts into precise, production-ready technical files and tech packs.

· Working knowledge of print production, packaging dielines, file preparation, and color management.

· Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with peers and cross-functional teams.

· Receptive to constructive feedback and able to apply revisions accurately and efficiently.

· Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and a consistent ability to meet deadlines.

· Comfortable managing multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Portfolio demonstrating relevant graphic design, packaging, brand identity, or product graphics work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding materials, fabrics, and textures as they apply to soft goods execution.
• Passion for or knowledge of water sports.
• Familiarity with KeyShot rendering.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field preferred.
• Three to five years of professional graphic design experience or experience in a related field.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

· Normal office conditions with extensive computer, Microsoft Teams, and phone usage.

· Ability to work extended hours when business needs require.

· Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an environment with frequent interruptions.

· Light physical effort, including frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.

Aqua Divers, Inc. is a performance-driven organization, and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support that commitment. We consider several factors when determining base compensation, including the scope of the position, job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.

The expected annual base pay range for this position is $35.00 to $40.00 per hour. Additional benefits may include health insurance, product discounts, paid holidays, and paid time off, in accordance with applicable company plans and eligibility requirements.
