Job Description Location: Philadelphia, PA (Philadelphia International Airport – PHL) Employment Type: Full-Time Work Arrangement: Hybrid / On-Site as needed based on project requirements and client approval Client Site: Philadelphia International Airport The Role McKnight International is seeking a Database / SQL Developer with strong experience in IBM Maximo to support asset management and maintenance systems within the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) IT environment. This role is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing Maximo data structures, reporting capabilities, and system integrations that drive airport maintenance and operational performance. The position works closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate, reliable, and actionable data within a structured, public-sector environment. This role sits within an active airport environment and supports systems critical to aviation operations, asset tracking, and maintenance management. Experience working in aviation, transportation, or other highly regulated environments is highly valued. The individual hired will represent McKnight International while supporting project and program delivery efforts for the client, ensuring data integrity and operational visibility across systems. Requirements Leadership Scope Serve as a technical resource supporting Maximo data and system optimization efforts Participate in recurring internal and client meetings to review reporting needs, system updates, and data requirements Support data governance, quality, and consistency across asset and maintenance systems Ensure system reliability and alignment with operational and business needs Operate within a live airport environment where data accuracy and system continuity are critical Essential Job Functions Develop, write, and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures Work directly with Maximo databases (SQL Server / Oracle) to extract, analyze, and validate data Support reporting and dashboard development (Power BI or similar tools) Maintain and enhance data pipelines supporting maintenance, asset tracking, and work order management Ensure data integrity across Maximo and integrated systems Support integrations between Maximo and other airport systems (e.g., Avius, Xovis, or similar platforms) Troubleshoot data issues and provide root cause analysis Collaborate with stakeholders across airport IT, operations, and program management teams Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions Support system testing, validation, and deployment activities Supplemental Functions Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Support performance tuning and optimization of database queries Assist with system documentation and knowledge sharing Apply problem-solving skills to resolve complex data and system issues Qualifications 4+ years of experience in SQL development (SQL Server preferred) Hands-on experience working within IBM Maximo in an operational environment (asset management, work orders, maintenance systems) required Strong experience with relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization Experience supporting reporting and analytics environments Experience working in enterprise or operational environments Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Nice-to-Have Experience Experience supporting aviation or airport systems Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools Experience with asset management or maintenance systems Exposure to system integrations or middleware Experience working in public sector or regulated environments Certifications & Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required Equivalent experience may be considered Physical, Schedule & Eligibility Requirements Full-time position Hybrid/on-site presence required based on project needs and client approval Must be authorized to work in the United States Must successfully pass airport background checks and security clearances Reliable transportation to and from assigned work location(s) required Annual base salary range (Philadelphia market): $95,000–$125,000 , with final compensation based on experience, technical skill level, and project requirements, in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local pay equity laws.
