CNC Swiss Machinist

We are seeking a CNC Swiss Machinist for a manufacturing company in Bristol,CT. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience setting up and operating CNC Swiss Machines (preferably Citizen but not required). Must be able to read and understand blueprints. Must be able to use measuring gauges such as micrometers, calipers, etc. 

salary: $52,000 - $66,500 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate multi-axis CNC Swiss machine (e.g. Citizen)
• Work with blueprints, operation sheets, and other instructions
• Load material, deburr and inspect parts for conformance to print requirements
• Communicate with supervisor, engineers, quality and other shop personnel to resolve machining or quality issues
• Perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe working environment
