Experienced Engineer - Cleaning Validation

Johnson & Johnson

Johnson & Johnson seeks an experienced engineer for its Manufacturing Science and Technology team in Wilson, North Carolina. The role focuses on cleaning validation for biologic medicine production, including cycle development, performance qualifications, and regulatory compliance activities.

Responsibilities

Conduct cleaning cycle development, performance qualifications, and re-qualification studies
Develop and review MSAT protocols, procedures, and technical reports for approval
Execute MSAT protocols in field and track exceptions or nonconformances
Coordinate with manufacturing, contractors, and vendors to support operations and projects
Participate in multi-functional teams for investigations and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

Degree in life sciences, engineering, biology, biochemistry, or related field
Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical manufacturing industry experience
Minimum 2 years biological cleaning validation experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, SAP and computer systems
Knowledge of FDA, EMEA, and regulatory authority requirements
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
