The Plainedge School District seeks qualified applicants to fill an immediate vacancy for the position of Supervisor of District Data & Educational Systems. Role Overview The Supervisor of District Data & Educational Systems is responsible for the technical administration, data integrity, and operational health of the district’s core educational technology systems. This role leads Student Information System (SIS) management, state compliance reporting (NYS Level 0/2), Single Sign-On (SSO) rostering, third-party software integrations, and end-user support for core data workflows. Key Responsibilities 1. Student Information System (SIS) & Application Management Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and administrative security of core systems, including, but not limited to, PowerSchool, Frontline, Parent Square and Staff Trac Administer Single Sign-On (SSO) and automated rostering via Clever, ClassLink, and Google Workspace Admin Console Evaluate, test, and deploy new edtech apps, plugins, and third-party integrations; establish access protocols and software assignment workflows Manage student data and enrollment, as well as assessment and report card processing 2. NYS Compliance, Data Reporting & Verification Execute, validate, and certify NYS Level 0 imports across all required datasets; audit and resolve Level 2 error reports in coordination with BOCES and the NYS Business Portal Lead state-mandated reporting cycles including BEDS IMF, SSEC, Special Education, and Technology Surveys Ensure data integrity/accuracy and ensure vendor compliance with external data privacy agreements Candidates must have NYS SDL or SDA certification and requisite NYSED fingerprint clearance. #J-18808-Ljbffr Plainedge Union Free School District
