What you'll do Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; uses handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind. Be an Owner: Maintains operational excellence and work area in accordance with policies; ensures quality and date control for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored according to policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member's experience in meat and modeling high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy and commitment. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; uses the Open Door Policy in decisions and practices.
