A nail technician provides professional manicure, pedicure, and nail enhancement services to clients. Their duties include cleaning, shaping, and polishing nails, applying acrylic or gel extensions, performing hand and foot massages, and maintaining strict sanitation standards to ensure a safe, relaxing environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Nail Care Services: Perform manicures, pedicures, cuticle care, trimming, buffing, and nail shaping.

• Enhancements & Art: Apply and remove gel, acrylic, or dip powder extensions and create custom nail art.

• Skin Treatments: Provide hand, arm, foot, and calf massages along with exfoliating or moisturizing treatments.

• Sanitation & Safety: Sterilize tools and disinfect workstations before and after every client appointment.

• Client Consultation: Discuss color and design preferences, evaluate nail health, and recommend home-care products.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Licensing: Valid state cosmetology or nail technician license.

• Customer Service: Friendly, communicative, and attentive listening skills.

• Attention to Detail: Precision in nail shaping, polish application, and intricate nail art.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing detailed manual tasks.
