## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm Incorporated\n\n## Job Area:\n\nInformation Technology Group, Information Technology Group \u003e IT Software Developer\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\nThis role requires full-time onsite work in San Diego, CA (5 days per week). \n\n**This position is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship.**\n\nJob Responsibilities: \n\n * Design , Develop , deploy and maintain API Proxies using Apigee Hybrid and Apigee X .\n\n * Implement API proxies , shared flows , custom policies using Javascript.\n\n * Ensure secure communication using OAuth2 , JWT , mTLS , OKTA , Basic Auth.\n\n * Manage API versioning , developer portals and apply API Governance best practices.\n\n * Familiar with OpenAPI/Swagger specs and API documentation.\n\n * Understanding of cloud platforms (GCP and AWS) and kubernetes.\n\n * Implement traffic management , quotas , caching strategies using Apigee Policies.\n\n * Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup for API deployments using GitHub Actions.\n\n * Monitor API Performance and apply tuning where necessary.\n\n\n\n\nQualifications: \n\n * Overall 4-6 Years of experience with Apigee.\n\n\n\n\nJob Requirements:\n\n * 4-6 years of API development and API management in API.\n\n * 4+ hands-on experience with Apigee Hybrid or Apigee X.\n\n * Experience in managing Apigee in multi region setups.\n\n * Strong expertise in REST API standards and design.\n\n * Proficiency in OAuth2 , JWT , TLS/mTLS and traffic management policies.\n\n * Good understanding in Kubernetes , YAML , Helm.\n\n * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and GCP).\n\n * Good understanding in APIGEE components (runtime and management plane).\n\n * Experience using AI (web, console, IDE based) to troubleshoot problems and write scripts and code.\n\n * Knowledge of AI concepts (RAG, MCP, A2A,AuthN/Z). \n\n\n\n\nSoft Skills:\n\n * Strong problem solving and debugging skills.\n\n * Excellent communication skills and stakeholder interaction.\n\n * Ability to work with cross functional teams.\n\n * Must be able to work with other team members around the globe (US, Europe...), to provide required support (sometime during early morning and evening hours).\n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 5+ years of IT-relevant work experience with Bachelor\u0027s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems). \nOR \n7+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor\u2019s degree. \n \n\u2022 4+ years of work experience with Full-stack Application Development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.). \n\u2022 3+ years of work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.\n\nQualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
