Director of Product Management for Superconducting Quantum Computing & Electronics, Quantum Technology SolutionsQuantum Technology Solution (QTS) is the new business recently launched at GlobalFoundries to enable the Quantum industry to transition from lab-scale to Utility Scale Quantum ComputingThe Product Manager for Superconducting Quantum Computing & Electronics is responsible for defining and commercializing GlobalFoundries' portfolio of superconducting electronics platform for use in quantum computing and other novel computing architectures. This leader will own the business, develop the product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plans for superconducting quantum & electronics platforms.Working closely with strategic customers, ecosystem partners, and QTS process development team, the role translates customer requirements into scalable semiconductor manufacturing platforms and technology roadmaps. The successful candidate will help establish GF as the leading foundry partner for utility-scale quantum computing by developing differentiated process technologies, integration flows, and product offerings that accelerate the transition from research prototypes to manufacturable quantum systems. This role is ideal for an experienced business executive with a strong background in product management of new technology platforms incl. superconducting quantum computing, superconducting electronics, and superconducting analog and digital logic.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the business growth and profitability, product strategy and roadmap for GF's quantum compute platform portfolio, with primary focus on superconducting quantum and superconducting electronics platforms.Develop modality-specific product offerings including process technologies, integration flows, design enablement, and manufacturing solutions required to scale quantum processors and other novel compute architectures.Engage with customers to understand architecture roadmaps, technical requirements, and commercialization needs.Translate customer requirements into market requirements, platform specifications, and technology development priorities for QTS development team.Drive go-to-market strategy, business cases, ecosystem partnerships, and strategic customer engagements to accelerate adoption of GF quantum platforms.Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging quantum modalities to guide portfolio investment decisions.Required Qualifications:Advanced degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Materials Science, Quantum Engineering, or a related technical discipline.10+ years of experience in product management, strategic marketing, business leadership, or technology commercialization within semiconductors, superconducting electronics, advanced packaging, or quantum technologies.P&L ownership, and demonstrated success launching and scaling complex technology platforms from concept through commercialization.Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, superconducting materials, superconducting device architectures, process technology development, and technology roadmapping.Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams across business, engineering, and R&D organizations.Strong customer-facing and executive communication skillsTravel – 25+% of timePreferred Qualifications:Direct experience with superconducting devices, superconducting electronics and superconducting based quantum compute architectures, or other advanced cryogenic based quantum computing modalities such as ion trap and spin qubits.Familiarity with quantum hardware architectures, scaling challenges, and manufacturability requirements.Experience working with quantum computing startups, hyperscalers, research institutions, or government-funded quantum programs.Existing network within the global quantum ecosystem and experience establishing strategic technology partnerships.MBA or equivalent business leadership experience.Expected Salary RangeThe exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.If you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at View email address on click.appcast.io and let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
