Overview
Registered Nurse — Med Surg Tele (Cardiac unit) in Rochester, NY. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: Weeks. Shift: 4x12 Nights. Weekly pay: $1,884–$1,996. Employment Type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. Setting: Hospital. This travel opportunity supports an inpatient medical-surgical/telemetry unit with cardiac focus.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care on a 19-bed MS/Tele unit with a cardiac focus; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adults and geriatrics
- Interpret dysrhythmias and respond with appropriate interventions; participate in rapid response/Code teams as needed
- Administer medications, manage IV access and peripheral lines; perform phlebotomy as required
- Provide oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway support; maintain isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV team, PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Work) and participate in rounds and transfers
- Document nursing care in Epic; ensure timely, accurate charting and adherence to unit policies

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in hand
- Minimum 1 year of RN clinical experience
- BLS certification required
- Phlebotomy and IV placement competencies required
- Ability to work on a MS/Tele cardiac-focused unit and float within scope to meet facility needs
- Local candidates within 75 miles not eligible per posting
- Epic charting experience is preferred or is referenced as a submission preference
