Cardiac Sonographer

Role: Performs comprehensive non-invasive transthoracic echocardiographic studies and assists with various echocardiographic procedures. Key Responsibilities Conducts echocardiographic exams and supports procedures such as transesophageal, intraoperative, contrast, and fetal echocardiography. Provides detailed data on cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics to aid cardiologists in diagnosing congenital heart defects. Operates echocardiographic equipment and assesses patient status, tailoring approaches based on age and condition. Works independently, demonstrating technical proficiency and clinical judgment. Participates in on‑call rotations, providing after-hours support and working at remote clinic sites as needed. Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications & Skills Experience in clinical echocardiography and healthcare settings preferred. Proficiency with MS Office applications. Associate's degree in an allied health field required; Bachelor's preferred. Certification in echocardiography from ARDMS or CCI required, with pediatric credential preferred. Completion of an accredited ultrasound or CVT program required. Basic Life Support certification required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
