Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong understanding of IEP process and ability to participate in meetings
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and caregivers
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload with empathy and professionalism

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs related to occupational performance at school
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students K-12
• Document student progress, prepare reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to optimize learning environments
• Provide training and support for staff and families regarding occupational therapy strategies
