Pulmonology Physician – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) Role Overview: An independent pulmonology practice supported by MedCBO’s Business‑in‑a‑Box platform. Physicians own and operate their own entity while MedCBO provides full non‑clinical operational support. About MedCBO, Inc. MedCBO, Inc. is a Colorado‑based healthcare business infrastructure company that empowers independent physician groups across the United States to launch, manage, and scale their practices. Our cloud‑based platform integrates revenue cycle management, accounting and finance, human resources, EHR support, payer contracting, compliance, supply‑chain logistics, and data intelligence. Job Type: Independent Practice Opportunity – not an employed physician position. Physician Responsibilities: Provide clinical care within the pulmonology specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing and authorizations as required. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO: Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform implementation and support Medical credentialing, enrollment, and facility privileging assistance Requirements: MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in pulmonology or appropriate specialty. Eligible for hospital/facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions preventing independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred: Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location: Multiple U.S. markets (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation: Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice. Financial outcomes vary based on specialty scope, services, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions.
