We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) or CNAs to join our Set Team in Fort Wayne. Our Set Team recognizes caregivers who go above and beyond, and as part of this team, you will have one designated on-call day each week (6 a.m. - 11 p.m.) and one on-call weekend per month.

Responsibilities:

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) with BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with personal hygiene (e.g., bathing, grooming) for clients.
• Helping clients with active and passive mobility exercises as directed in care plans.
• Assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation to appointments, and providing companionship.
• Reporting any changes in the client's condition to the nurse case manager.

Requirements:

• Current Indiana HHA license (or CNA license).
• GED or High School Diploma.
• 1 year of experience in home health care as an HHA or CNA.
• CPR Certification (preferred).
• Physical exam and negative tuberculosis test (within the last 12 months).
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Must comply with HIPAA regulations and safeguard client confidentiality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist clients with mobility.
• Strong communication skills (ability to read, write, speak, and understand English).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a CNA, Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar role.
