Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of ultrasound scans, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and smaller part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort throughout procedures, clearly explaining each phase with empathy and warmth
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver outstanding diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues that arise
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient information within the electronic health record
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and imaging best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
