Van Driver Van Driver Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Communicate and coordinate transportation of residents with the Facility Services Administrative Assistant. Safely and punctually transport residents to appointments, outings, and events; arrange return trips to avoid confusion. Coordinate transportation for Activity Events, collaborating with staff to ensure smooth scheduling. Complete non-resident trips (e.g., bank, post office, Church Headquarters, and other errands). Manage scheduling and usage of Rosewood Center vehicles. Perform preventive maintenance checks and ensure vehicles are in safe working condition. Greet visitors and provide directions when needed. Maintain reliable and consistent attendance as directed by supervisor. Uphold Hillise Manor Ethical Standards, Guidelines/Compliance Plan, and maintain high ethical standards in all interactions. Comply with HIPAA regulations. Ensure Transportation Department meets all federal and state regulatory requirements. Van Driver Qualifications: Valid Class E License required. CPR Certification required. CNA license preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a variety of people and personalities. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and professionalism. Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written directions.
