This position will be full-time and onsite in Newark, DE.Only work authorizations not requiring sponsorship now or in the future will be considered.What You’ll DoDevelop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirementsCoordinate and execute manual test cycles, including functional, regression, integration, and system testingOversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworksDetermine which test cases are candidates for automation based on frequency, risk, and regression valueCoordinate execution of automated regression suites as part of the release and deployment cycleWork with the QA and development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipelineMonitor automated test results and triage failures to distinguish defects from script or environment issuesEvaluate and recommend testing tools consistent with the client's technical environmentLog, track, and manage defects through resolution, working with development teams to confirm fixesCoordinate retesting of resolved defects and track retest outcomes through closureReview and evaluate testing performed by solution providers or third-party vendors for completeness and qualitySupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business users, scheduling sessions, and tracking sign-offReview requirements and design documentation to identify testable acceptance criteriaMaintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defectsBuild and maintain burndown rate reporting for test execution, defect resolution, and UAT progressBuild and maintain velocity reports covering solution provider testing, UAT, defects, and retestsDesign, build, and maintain UAT dashboards showing test case status, pass/fail rates, defect counts, and sign-off progressMaintain test data sets used across manual and automated test cycles, including data refresh and masking requirementsTrack and report quality metrics such as defect density, defect leakage, test coverage, and cycle timeProvide regular status reporting to project leadership and client stakeholders on testing progress against scheduleEnsure test and defect data is accurate and consistently maintained in the test management and defect tracking toolsWhat You'll NeedRequired:Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experiencePrior experience managing or leading a QA team across manual and automated testing effortsExperience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, qTest, or similar)Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or similar)Experience building status reporting and dashboards for testing metrics (e.g., burndown charts, UAT dashboards)Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to report status to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersDemonstrated attention to detail and quality assurance discipline when working with data and analysisPreferred:Experience supporting UAT cycles with business or client end usersProficiency with SQL for test data validation, extraction, and reportingExperience building dashboards or interactive reporting tools (e.g., R Shiny, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to communicate status and metrics to stakeholdersExperience with cloud data storage and pipeline tools (e.g., Azure) supporting test data and reporting needsExperience collaborating across back-end and front-end teams to ensure data is properly stored, integrated, and available for testing and reportingExperience working within a formal software development lifecycle (SDLC) or Agile delivery modelProject management certification or equivalent experienceISTQB or similar QA certificationPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorMust be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in personSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Reasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to View email address on click.appcast.io or View phone number on click.appcast.io.EEO StatementIt is the policy of Computer Aid, Inc.(CAI) not to discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability or because he or she is a protected veteran. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
