About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Cross City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve our guests' functional abilities and independence. Your expertise will focus on enhancing daily living skills, such as dressing, grooming, and meal preparation, as well as addressing cognitive and sensory impairments. Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in the design and implementation of treatment plans tailored to each guest's unique needs

• Conduct daily living skills training, including activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)

• Develop and lead group therapy sessions focused on cognitive, sensory, and motor skills

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care plans

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of treatments and progress

• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences and meetings to share knowledge and best practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 0 years of experience in occupational therapy or a related field

• Associate's degree or higher in occupational therapy or a related field

• Must be certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of [insert state]

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition guests
