You will work closely with providers, prepare patients for visits, perform clinical tasks, and help maintain smooth daily operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for exams, procedures, and office visitsObtain vital signs and perform in-office procedures (EKG, spirometry, peak flow, bone density, nebulizer treatments)Administer injections and immunizationsMonitor patients after vaccinations or injectionsObtain complete patient histories (medical, surgical, social)Record medications and allergies accuratelyAssist physicians, PAs, and NPs with exams and proceduresRelay in-office lab test resultsPatient CommunicationHandle incoming calls from patients, pharmacies, radiology centers, labs, and insurance companiesNotify patients of test results and provide follow-up instructionsReview and process refill requests according to provider protocolsClinic OperationsClean and sanitize exam and procedure roomsClean, wrap, and sterilize instrumentsSupport smooth patient flow across a busy clinic with 10 providersMaintain a professional, courteous, and patient-focused environmentRequired QualificationsMinimum 1 year Medical Assistant experienceExperience with EKGs and injectionsDependable, polite, and professionalExcellent customer service skillsAccurate, thorough, and detail-orientedAble to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environmentStrong team player with a positive attitudePassionate about providing the best care to patientsPreferred QualificationsAthena EMR experiencePrimary care experienceBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid holidays
