Technical Trainer

Job Title: Technical Trainer III – Compression Location: Williston, ND (Supporting Bakken Operations) Schedule: 5/2 (Monday–Friday), 40 hours/week (OT as approved) Duration: 1 Year Job Summary We are seeking a Technical Trainer III with extensive compression experience to support operations across the Bakken. This individual will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for compression equipment, developing and delivering technical training programs that improve workforce competency, safety, and operational excellence. What They're Looking For Minimum 5 years of hands‑on oil & gas compression experience Strong knowledge of compressor stations and compressor maintenance Experience with Caterpillar 3500 and 3600 engines is highly preferred Broad knowledge of reciprocating compressors and associated equipment Previous experience mentoring or training technicians is preferred Comfortable presenting to groups and conducting classroom and field training Strong communication and leadership skills Responsibilities Develop and deliver technical training for compression personnel Train new and experienced employees on compressor operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety Create and maintain technical training materials and competency programsPartner with Training Advisors and Subject Matter Experts to improve curriculum Support company training standards, compliance, and competency requirements Promote safe and reliable operating practices throughout the organization #J-18808-Ljbffr
