The Investment Analyst will play an active role in the investment process while developing the skills needed to construct and manage institutional portfolios. The position offers direct access to senior investment professionals across the firm as well as regular engagement with corporate C-suite executives, providing an exceptional foundation for a long-term career in equity investing.ResponsibilitiesAssist in portfolio management activities including risk management and stock selectionCollaborate with investment analysts and portfolio managers on extensive financial analysis and company- and industry-related research projectsIncorporate macroeconomic and thematic analysis into bottom-up company research to support investment decisionsInteract with public company executives both in our offices and in the fieldLearn directly from senior investment professionals while providing fundamental equity research supportProvide investment insight and meaningfully impact the investment process beyond number crunchingRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree with a strong academic recordMinimum of two years of experience in the financial services industryStrong Excel and financial modeling skills, including demonstrated ability to build three-statement modelsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with investment professionals and other business partners across the firmAbility to work independently and to contribute as part of a team, with strict attention to detailPreferred QualificationsAbility to utilize large language models (LLMs) in a research or analytical workflowProficiency in PythonDemonstrated interest in continuous learning and professional development.Passion for equity investing and financial marketsProgress toward the CFA designation is a plusVisa SponsorshipApplicants must have a valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States (e.g., H-1B, F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, TN).In-Office CollaborationWe are a client-centric, relationship-based business. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
