A positive attitude and your own tools are also requirements. Emissions tester or ASE certifications a plus. Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics. Track record of high personal productivity. Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities. Automotive Technician Qualifications Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, Tire Changing Equipment, Tire Balancers, Wheel Alignment Equipment, etc. High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical Degree or ASE certifications a definite plus. Valid Drivers License that meets insurance guidelines. Personally owned tools required to complete jobs independently.
