Echo TechnologistWe are seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, cooperative, and possess strong technical skills in echocardiography.Our facility is the largest medical provider in the region, featuring a comprehensive range of services. We operate as a key healthcare resource for southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, and parts of Montana. Our facility includes:318 patient bedsLevel II Trauma CenterLevel 1 ICUPediatric Intensive Care Unit74-bed Behavioral Health CenterPosition details:Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PMLength of Assignment: 13 weeksCall Requirements: Scheduled night and weekend callKey responsibilities:Perform echocardiographic procedures on patients of varying acuity levels, ranging from neonatal to geriatric.Utilize ultrasound technology to assess and diagnose cardiac conditions.Maintain a high standard of professionalism and quality in patient care.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography or completion of an accredited echocardiology program.Current registry or certification in Adult Echocardiography is required.Current registry or certification in vascular ultrasound is also necessary.Must be actively pursuing additional registries as required.BLS certification is essential.Equipment and technology:Familiarity with ultrasound equipment and EMR systems is expected.Desired attributes:A collaborative team playerFlexible in adapting to various tasks and challengesEmployees are expected to adhere to the unit dress code and maintain a professional image at all times.
