Job Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient evaluations, including physical examinations and thorough medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions via interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate with surgeons to formulate and implement patient-tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance by prepping the operating room, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Administer exceptional pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Education and Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior clinical rotations with a focus on surgical procedures are strongly preferred

Required Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications necessary
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
