You can learn more about LexisNexis Risk at About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong CPQ Business Analyst to support our in-house creation of a Configure, Price, Quote, and Contract platform. This role acts as the critical liaison between the business contacts and the software development team, gathering actionable functional requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of pricing concepts, exceptional documentation skills, and experience working with custom software or CPQ systems in an Agile/iterative development environment.This role is open to candidates who wish to be Remote in the US or hybrid from one of our local US offices.Responsibilities The role will predominately focus on gathering and analyzing working group data, identifying current processes and areas for improvement, researching best practices and documenting functional requirements for the software development teamPartner closely with the Pricing team to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to new CPQ systemTranslate complex pricing logic into detailed functional requirements for developersServe as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT/software engineering teamsWork with developers to clarify requirements, answer questions, and ensure accurate implementationValidate delivered functionality through testing, QA support, and SME testingMaintain documentation of pricing logic, workflows, and system behavior within the CPQ platformIdentify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and system capabilitiesSupport ongoing enhancements, defect triage, and prioritization of backlog itemsMaintain stakeholder expectations and raises appropriate issues to senior rolesCommunicates effectively with business subject matter experts and the delivery team(s)RequirementsBachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience required, ISEB qualified Business Analyst preferred3–7+ years of experience as an IT Business AnalystExperience of working in an agile environment and using recognized development methodology e.g., Agile, SCRUM, KANBANExperience working with CPQ tools (custom-built or platforms like Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, etc.)Strong understanding of pricing strategies, discounting, or revenue management conceptsProven ability to translate complex business processes into technical requirementsExperience writing functional requirements documentsExcellent communication skills, with ability to work across business and technical teamsStrong analytical thinking and attention to detail U.S. National Base Pay Range: $71,600 - $119,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Base Pay Range for CO is $71,600 - $119,400. Base Pay Range for IL is $75,200 - $125,500. Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL is $78,700 - $131,400. Base Pay Range for MD is $75,200 - $125,500. Base Pay Range for NY is $78,700 - $131,400. Base Pay Range for New York City is $85,900 - $143,300. Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY is $71,600 - $119,400. Base Pay Range for OH is $68,000 - $113,400. Base Pay Range for NJ is $84,546- $135,054. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
