You will plan and facilitate standards-aligned, engaging lessons; differentiate your lessons to cater to your students' diverse learning styles, and provide remediation such that all of your students are demonstrably growing. Moreover, you will model and actively build healthy habits and character skills among our students through the promotion of Unity's strong and vibrant school culture. Finally, you will consistently grow and develop your own craft as an exceptional educator and be recognized and celebrated for your contributions to our school community through our formal career pathways and promotion system.KEY QUALIFICATIONSThe ideal candidate for a Math Teacher meets the following criteria:Master's degree with a teaching certification in New York.2+ years of formal teaching experience in New York.Demonstrable skill in accelerating student growth and mastery.Adeptness in differentiating instruction to fully support a diverse range of learners and readiness levels.Ability to plan rigorous, engaging, and culturally responsive curricula that align with New York State learning standards.Exhibits a balance of high expectations and high support, a growth mindset, and an innate joy in working with adolescents.Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills with a focus on building productive relationships with students and families.Excellent written and oral communication skills and skilled in working collaboratively in team settings.APPLY TODAY AND LEARN MORE!Take the first step by applying through our quick, easy, and mobile-friendly application.
