About the Job Perito Electricista

Responsible for assembling and installing photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures, performing electrical work according to project specifications, under the supervision of the Manager and the Photovoltaic Systems Installation Leader.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify materials and equipment.
• Examine blueprints and material lists.
• Distribute materials in work areas.
• Install photovoltaic systems following codes and standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Mark and perform perforations in roofs or structures.
• Assemble solar modules and support structures.
• Install and verify interconnection wiring.
• Test operation voltages and ensure correct operation of equipment.
• Identify and resolve deficiencies in the installation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and verify system functionality.
• Document and report work performed.

Competencies:

• Knowledge of electricity and renewable energy standards.
• Ability to provide high-quality customer service.
• Capacity to solve problems and make decisions.
• Ability to perform quality tests and inspections.

Academic Preparation:

• Fourth-year diploma.
• Studies in electricity or related fields.
• Photovoltaic System Installer Certificate (not essential).
