NICU/PICU Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

We are seeking a dedicated NICU/PICU Respiratory Therapist to provide expert care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will work with critically ill infants, children, and adolescents, utilizing advanced techniques and protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory therapy to patients within the Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting treatments as necessary.
  • Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU or PICU respiratory therapy.
  • Active state license: Single State Ohio or Multi-State license.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.
  • Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
  • References: Supervisor reference within the past 2 years.
