Sloomoo celebrates joy through an interactive experiential world focused on slime, hands‑on play, and all things #satisfying. Since launching in 2019, we have expanded to five Institutes and two MiniMoos across the United States. Job Title: Clay Artist Reporting to: Manager on Duty Position Summary Our clay artists create, pack, and process over 50 unique slimes and produce intricate clay designs that accompany our products. Quality, consistency, and timeliness are key performance indicators; a typical day involves producing 25–100 clay toppers. Values Joy – spark wonder, play, and creativity in everything we do. Resilience – pivot, solve, and grow stronger through challenges. Excellence – obsess over details that make greatness. Responsibilities Use claymaking, sculpting, pottery, painting techniques. Work a consistent schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb as needed; work while wearing a uniform. Follow recipes and written instructions. Use measuring tools accurately. Lift up to 50 lbs. Ensure safety, efficiency, and policies of each experience. Clean and maintain production location; report deficiencies. Maintain brand integrity. Identify, log, and report damages or repairs. Prioritize safety at all times. Meet Sloomoo Inc. quality standard for every product. Provide feedback to improve production process. Complete daily goals and tasks. Support team members as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Proven experience in clay artistry, sculpture, or ceramics. Proficient in various clay techniques (hand‑building, wheel throwing, firing, glazing). Ability to conceptualize and create original, visually appealing art installations. Enjoys working with families/children. Works creatively in a collaborative team environment. Knowledge of safety protocols in art‑making environments. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills; explains creative process friendly. Comfortable working in large‑group environments with multiple staff and up to several dozen guests at a time.
