Registered Dental Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring Dental Assistants in Sacramento, California. This on‑site, full‑time role supports oral surgery, implant, and reconstructive dental procedures within an ambulatory surgery center setting. Pay: $28.00 to $36.00 per hour Type: Full‑Time | Dental Assistant Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8‑Hour Shifts Location: Sacramento, CA Primary Responsibilities Perform chairside dental assisting duties using four‑handed dentistry techniques during surgical, implant, and reconstruction procedures. Assist in monitoring and supporting surgical patients throughout treatment and recovery. Provide postoperative instructions and educational materials to patients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical and operatory areas. Follow strict infection control, sterilization, and aseptic techniques. Restock and organize instruments, gowns, linens, and clinical supplies. Monitor sharps containers and assist with infectious waste disposal procedures. Assist with equipment and instrument inventory management. Communicate supply, repair, and replacement needs to leadership team. Utilize EHR and dental software systems accurately and efficiently. Support high‑quality patient care and maintain professional communication with staff, faculty, and patients. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required. Current California X‑Ray license required. Current CPR certification required. Minimum 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience required. Oral surgery or surgical dental experience preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology, surgical instruments, sterilization, and infection control procedures. Strong patient care, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for the majority of the workday. Occasional walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
