Tech Lead - Software Engineer

Job Title: Platform/DevOps Engineer Location: WFH USA New Jersey Parsippany Years of Experience: 7 10 Years Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and automation. This role is crucial for enhancing our platform capabilities and ensuring seamless deployment and management of applications in a cloud environment. Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters to support application deployment and scaling.
- Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications into the Kubernetes environment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in Kubernetes and associated services.
- Implement best practices for security, scalability, and reliability in cloud infrastructure.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices for team knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster management, networking, and security.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, container orchestration).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 10 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
