Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional inpatient hospice care for patients with life-limiting illnesses. The RN will deliver skilled nursing care, manage pain and symptoms, provide emotional support to patients and families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure comfort, dignity, and quality of life throughout the end-of-life journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to hospice patients in an inpatient setting.
• Assess, monitor, and manage patient symptoms, pain, and overall comfort.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on disease progression, symptom management, and end-of-life care.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, hospice aides, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and provide appropriate interventions.
• Promote a compassionate, supportive, and respectful environment for patients and their families.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) License .
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification .
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Previous Home Health, Hospice, or Case Management experience.
• Broad-based nursing experience with strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
