Operations Manager Manage the daily activities of a logistics operation to maximize scheduling and delivery of commodities to the customer. Key Responsibilities Coordinate scheduling and maximize schedule adherence; provide input on local conditions, identify needs and respond to real‑time staffing changes. Enact contingency plans and oversee activities during system problems or disasters; identify potential problems, troubleshoot, and report to local and senior management. Conduct post‑mortem analysis of problems to provide input for future process improvements. Review ongoing performance results to targets and initiate corrective measures with authorization. Provide effective leadership to Warehouse Managers and/or team, enforcing company standards and acting as a role model. Manage the flow of day‑to‑day IBOS operations. Oversee daily management of staff, including performance monitoring to identify training needs. Provide direction, instruction, and guidance to team members to ensure achievement of service level agreements and standards. Manage team capacity and utilization for assigned tasks during normal operations. Maintain client relationships and conduct weekly service review with client. Develop and execute SOPs and maintain strong knowledge of all operating systems. Ensure health and safety development and execution. Other duties as assigned. Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field. Progressive experience performing professional level operational and plant management duties, preferably in automotive or logistics industry. Strong analytical skills – read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Excellent written communication and persuasive presentation skills for top management and customer. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and interpret technical instructions.
